Delete Your IEP Guide Account and Data

IEP Guide (iepguide.org) lets you request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You do not need an account or an active subscription to make this request.

How to request deletion

1. Email privacy@iepguide.org from the email address associated with your IEP Guide account.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my account.”
3. We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.

You can also delete individual child profiles yourself at any time from My Family without deleting your whole account — go to the child’s profile and use the delete option there.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• All child profiles, IEP meeting records, service schedules, and saved school comparisons associated with your account
• Any consented reminder-recipient records tied to your account

What we keep, and for how long

• Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (generally 7 years), even after account deletion.
• Records we’re legally required to keep for fraud-prevention purposes may be retained briefly beyond the 30-day deletion window.
• Backups are purged of deleted data within 30 days of the live deletion.
• Aggregate, non-identifying analytics are retained indefinitely and are not linked to your identity once your account is deleted.
