By accessing or using IEP Guide, you agree to these Terms of Use. IEP Guide provides a curated directory and tools to help families, educators, and advocates navigate special education resources in California.
Informational Purpose
IEP Guide does not provide legal, medical, educational, or IEP placement advice. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as legal, medical, therapeutic, educational, or professional advice of any kind. Families should consult appropriate professionals, school districts, IEP teams, or legal advisors for individual situations.
Although we aim to present public data accurately, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, accurate, or error-free. Users should verify information directly with the relevant school, district, or official source.
Paid Membership
IEP Guide offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on the Pricing page. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) and will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. IEP Guide reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice to subscribers.
Intellectual Property & Prohibited Data Use
The IEP Guide directory is an original compilation protected under U.S. copyright law. The selection, arrangement, and presentation of information on this site represents significant original effort and is proprietary to IEP Guide.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Systematic scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of directory data
- Republication or redistribution of directory content, in whole or in part
- Use of directory data to build competing products or services
- Reverse engineering of any non-public systems, APIs, or algorithms
Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt its operation, circumvent access controls or payment systems, or use any information obtained from IEP Guide in a way that violates applicable laws or the privacy of students, families, schools, or districts.
Account Termination
IEP Guide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts — with or without notice — that violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent use, or attempt to circumvent access controls or payment systems. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IEP Guide, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or reliance on its content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to discontinue use.
Changes
IEP Guide may update this site, these Terms, data sources, calculations, features, or pricing over time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
